Being a Conservation Technician may require an associate's degree or its equivalent and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Conservation Technician relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.     This position is located in Sacramento, CA, and will require the incumbent to work in the office. Although this position is designated as "office-centric", the incumbent may be allowed to telework one day per week.

    Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager I, the Business Services Technician is responsible for performing tasks associated with reception duties, mail services, courier services, security cards, forms management and posting tags.

    ELIGIBILITY INFORMATION: If new to California State service or you do not have transfer eligibility, you will need to have taken and passed the examination for this classification in order to be hired for this position.
