Conservation Technician maintains the authenticity and overall appearance of art objects. Conducts analysis to determine appropriate method for cleaning and repairing objects. Being a Conservation Technician may require an associate's degree or its equivalent and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Conservation Technician relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. This position performs in a technical capacity to carry out the installation of the Wright Soil and Water Conservation District’s Best Management Practices within Wright County. Technical duties include, but are not limited to, all facets of the design and installation of a conservation practice from the inception of the project to the check-out upon completion of construction. This position will also be fully involved with other District programs as time allows and as directed by the District Manager.
