Job Title: GIS and Conservation Data Manager
Compensation: Based on experience ($26.00-$30.00/hour)
Hours: Part-time position (20 hours per week) includes some evening or weekend meetings
Location: Based in Essex, Massachusetts. Frequent travel and fieldwork within the Manchester and Essex area
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Executive Director, the GIS and Conservation Data Manager supports all
conservation-related activities of MECT, with a primary focus on the management and collection of data related to land protection and land stewardship projects
GIS, Mapping and Digital Communication
enable the organization to make informed conservation decisions
officials in the Towns of Manchester and Essex and in State government, as well as with
other stakeholders in the community
Land Records Management
Land Protection Research
other relevant parcel/ownership data, etc., of properties of conservation interest to the
organization
conducting field work as necessary.
Documentation coordination and record keeping.
