Configuration Analyst jobs in Utah

Smoothstack is currently recruiting for a Configuration Management Analyst for an onsite position at Hill AFB, Utah. The position REQUIRES an Active Secret Clearance. You will be responsible for maintaining CM files including configuration identification, change control, and status accounting record. You will analyze proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system and coordinate modification records for management control. You will establish change orders and prepare for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor. You will maintain and enforce configuration management policies and procedures along with maintaining the baseline using automated Configuration Management tools. It will be your responsibility to track and maintain the project change requests, impact assessments, incident reports, and change notices continuously along with attending customer meetings, kick-off meetings, configuration meetings, and production meetings as needed. You will ensure that customer requirements are implemented and review changes to accounting activity to ensure compliance with configuration management policies.

Qualified candidates will have the following education/experience and clearance to be considered:

***Active Secret Clearance or higher or if you have been debriefed within the past 24 months you are eligible to apply***

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or IT related field or equivalent professional experience

• Two (2) or more years of experience.

Recommended Certifications (At least one):

• ICM Configuration Management II.
• ITIL v4 Foundations.
• IEEE Software Engineering Master Certification (SEMC) preferred

Experience with the following:

• Problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate and solve issues before they affect business productivity.

• Configuration Management Software Process familiarization.

• Must possess a strong proficiency with Data Management.

• Demonstrated experience with Identity and Access Management.

• Demonstrated experience with Configuration Management Software Tools.

• Strong Communication and Coordination Skills.

• Proficiency with Windows base applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
