Configuration Analyst jobs in Omaha, NE

The Physicians Mutual Direct Marketing Group is seeking a Campaign Configuration Specialist to perform detailed analysis and create and maintain promotional components and administration systems. In this role, you would support new product implementations, serve as subject matter expert on configuration of marketing documents and systems, and provide guidance for decisions related to the creation and usage of marketing documents and customer correspondence.

Key responsibilities include:

• Gathering data for project objectives
• Writing program specs for required changes
• Developing project deliverables
• Setting up and maintaining computer letter images
• Coding programming logic in Studio software
• Supporting marketing business systems (Aprimo, Studio, PREG, Mainframe and Visual) updates
• Researching and implementing solutions for production delays and system errors
• Coordinating efforts with internal and external personnel
• Providing guidance and support to the development, execution and management of document testing strategies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Management Systems, Business Administration, Insurance or a similar field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience required
• Requires a minimum 5 years of insurance experience, including at least 3 years exposure to document creation and management processes and the processes supporting print functions
• Working technical and business knowledge of insurance operational systems (that integrate with print functionality) and insurance products, (health, life and med supp) is required
• Previous experience with document creation print software utilizing conditional logic and table maintenance is required
• Previous hands-on experience working with the Legacy and InsPro Administration Systems or Studio software is a plus
• Strong project management skills, combined with a sense of urgency and accountability, to plan, organize, prioritize, problem solve and execute requirements related to document creation and management in a dynamic, changing, fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of system functionality and configuration components of the Legacy and InsPro Policy Administration Systems including Bill & Collect
• Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with internal and external (i.e. vendors and outside mail shops) personnel
• Thorough knowledge of programming Studio templates utilizing conditional logic, data mapping and formatting
• Strong knowledge of maintaining databases and tables
• Excellent composition, writing, proofreading and verbal communication skills
• Thorough knowledge of marketing methodologies and systems (Studio, Aprimo, PREG, Mainframe, Visual), business printing systems, mail shop requirements and company products
• Strong analytical and attention to detail skills to identify and resolve system and workflow problems, procedural conflicts, compliance discrepancies, etc.
• Strong leadership skills and interpersonal skills to manage tasks and provide strategic direction to project teams
• Ability to utilize various PC software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access
• High level of initiative and self-confidence to be able to identify, initiate and complete tasks with minimal supervision
• Demonstrate ability to conceptualize and communicate new ideas and/or approaches to all levels in the organization
