Job Title: Supervisor, Ultrasound Configuration
Job purpose
-
The Supervisor, Ultrasound Configuration position is responsible for overseeing the daily functions and activities of the Ultrasound Configuration Lab, as well as working with other departments to meet monthly, quarterly and year-end goals.
Duties and responsibilities
-
Assign customer repair systems to Ultrasound Techs to ensure timely repairs while communicating updates of systems to Service Area Managers and Service Contracts team.

Work with Ultrasound Sales, Marketing, Ultrasound Technical Support and Warehouse to ensure that demo, training, and trade show systems are configured and ready for the requested dates.

Schedule the completion of new configurations to ensure that sales orders get fulfilled in a timely manner in order to meet company revenue goals.

Ensure all service work is completed in compliance with all HCUS procedures within required time frames.

Manage the testing and cleaning of probes.
-
Manage the logistics function of new equipment delivery and demo system transportation and co-ordination.
-
Maintain and send daily reports for customer repaired systems and new configurations to internal and external employees ensuring compliance with clean-list protocols.

Maintain accurate inventory records in SAP as it relates to ultrasound equpment.

Work closely with Ultrasound Technical Support and Regulatory to ensure the correct revision levels, SIBs, and software are being implemented.

Work with Regulatory to ensure that complaints related to Ultrasound are handled properly.

Maintain good working relationship with other departments within HCUS.

Comply with all applicable U.S. Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) medical device regulatory requirements, applicable ISO 13485 standard requirements and all other applicable laws, regulations and standards.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred, or equivalent work experience.

Previous coordinating and scheduling experience highly desirable.

Proficiency with PC and Microsoft software applications. Strong working knowledge of warehouse management systems preferred.
