Wachter is accepting applications for an AV Staging and Configuration Specialist to join the WAVE team in our Lowell, AR office.

This in-office position is responsible for gathering critical information for AV hardware, rack fabrication, and system testing of AV systems.

We seek self-motivated and reliable technicians for service and special installation projects, who can work independently and find solutions to complete the job.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• College education or degree preferred.
• Demonstrates proficient use of Microsoft Office applications.
• CTS recommended.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal). Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
• Displays understanding of basic AV systems.
• Displays knowledge of AVIXA rack-building standards.
• Gathers critical information from AV hardware : o Serial numberso MAC addresseso Firmware versionso Software versionso Username and passwordo IP addresses
• Tests and configures AV equipment : o Updates firmwareo Mocks up system in lab per engineer provided drawings
• Builds AV Equipment racks per AVIXA standards.
• Maintains AV warehouse inventory spreadsheet.
• Maintains AV rack fabrication area.
• Assists AV engineers with testing AV systems in shop.
• Packages, labels, and ships AV systems once fully tested. Supervisory Responsibilities :
• None Working Conditions and Physical Demands :
• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs.
• Ability to use basic hand tools.
• Ability to work overtime as requested by AV Engineering Manager.$18 - $25 an hourBased on qualifications and experience.
