You are an enthusiastic, positive role model, motivating resort teams by promoting the Sea Island tradition of genuine hospitality as you produce distinctive meetings and events. You create an atmosphere of anticipatory service as you design and execute delightful guest experiences.
You maintain exemplary communication with clients, exceeding their expectations with your suggestive menu and service offerings. You have a keen ability to maximize revenue through effective and appropriate up-selling of services and products. You enthusiastically coordinate between clients and resort teams by informing each department of their specific role and setting everyone up for success. Your timely and accurately detailed Resumes and BEO’s, are signed by clients and distributed to necessary departments according to Sea Island’s established schedule. You review estimates and ensure final guarantees and figures are in place. You are careful to monitor any changes and communicate updated information to affected teams quickly and thoroughly. You ensure all details are in place prior to client arrival, reviewing agreements, verifying room set-ups and checking in with service teams. You thoughtfully execute all aspects of the written sales agreements and corresponding arrangements between the resort and clients during event. You warmly welcome and direct clients, remaining attentive and visible, observing quality and delivery and assisting where needed.
You form effective relationships and work closely with all resort departments to maintain rapport and foster open communication. This involves attending related meetings and ensuring details are clearly relayed to create a seamless service experience. You set the tone by consistently upholding and ensuring compliance with departmental procedures, including standards for safety, quality, timing, attendance, and appearance. You take pride in making sure all work areas are sparkling clean, safe and well organized. You maintain a thorough knowledge of current services, amenities, activities, dining options, shops, local attractions, and historical information regarding Sea Island and the surrounding area. When needed, you act to promptly resolve guest concerns, coordinating necessary efforts through the appropriate departments and consistently follow-up to ensure resolution.
