Vehicle Transporting Router/Dispatcher (Orlando)
We are seeking to employ a dispatcher who is able to plan and coordinate routes, book loads, take calls from drivers, customers, and brokers. One who will answer emails in a timely manner, meet goals set by management, assist drivers with issues that may arise and excel under pressure whilst working under minimal supervision.
Duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Book loads
- Plan and coordinate routes
- Dispatch multiple drivers in a timely manner
- Track drivers during assignments and keep customers and brokers informed of driver routes and of any delays.
- Take incoming calls from customers, drivers, and brokers
- Communicate with customers or supervisor to address questions, and issues.
- Accurately enter orders and driver activities in Transportation Management Systems.
- Multi-tasking and organizational skills
Qualifications:
- Customer Service Experience
- Ability to interact with courtesy, sympathy, understanding, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times
