Provides care to patients from neonate to elderly, performing all functions in a professional and ethical manner. Collaborates with other health care team members to ensure quality patient care. Provides direct and indirect supervision of nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, nursing assistants, and unit secretaries. Graduate of accredited School of Nursing. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in good standing for the State of Alabama required. Possess the ability to communicate orally and in writing. Two years experience in the area of emergency nursing preferred. Basic Cardiac Life Support ACLS, & PALS required. New hire has 30 days from date of hire to obtain ACLS certification and PALS within 60 days of hire.
