With a rich history of successful projects and a commitment to excellence, they are seeking a highly motivated and talented Assistant Project Engineer to join our expanding operations in Lexington, KY.

    Job Description

    The Assistant Project Engineer will be responsible for the following:

    • Collaborating with the project team to ensure the successful planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects.
    • Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of project schedules, budgets, and documentation.
    • Conducting on-site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
    • Coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
    • Assisting in the review of project designs and specifications to ensure they meet quality and regulatory standards.
    • Providing technical support to the project team and addressing any engineering-related issues that may arise during construction.
    • Contributing to project meetings and providing regular updates to the Project Engineer and other team members.

    The Successful Applicant

    The successful Assistant Project Engineer will have the following qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
    • 2-3 years experience
    • Previous experience in a construction-related role is preferred.
    • Knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials.
    • Strong organizational and communication skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficient in relevant software and tools, including project management software.
