Conference Coordinator - Higher Ed. jobs in Lake Havasu City, AZ

We are seeking a highly organized, dedicated and enthusiastic Expo Event Coordinator for an upcoming expo event in Las Vegas. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail. The Expo Event Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of event activities to ensure a successful expo experience for exhibitors and attendees.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with marketing team to implement marketing strategies for the expo.
• Manage all aspects of the expo including logistics, participant registration, vendor relations, event setup/breakdown.
• Communicate effectively with exhibitors and attendees before, during, and after the expo.
• Coordinate with venue staff to facilitate logistics including layout, electricity, Wi-Fi, security, cleaning, and more.
• Resolve issues that arise during the event.
• Create and execute a detailed event timeline.
• Organize and maintain budgets for the expo.
• Comply with health and safety regulations at all times.

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Hospitality, Event Management or related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in event planning or coordination.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and event registration software.
• Ability to work versatile hours, including evenings and weekends when the event is scheduled.
• Highly motivated with a genuine drive to succeed.
