Position Summary:
Assist the Camps and Conferences Manager in the planning and implementation of an effective and efficient summer conference program.
Minimum Qualifications:
Work experience that demonstrates:
- Organizational and decision-making skills
- Ability to relate well with people of diverse ages and backgrounds
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Ability to work well under pressure and for extended periods of time
- The knowledge of customer service principles and practices
- Willingness and ability to: perform various tasks
- Ability to pay attention to details
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in emergency assessment and resolution
- Previous experience in a university summer housing position
- Proficiency with computer software packages including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and StarRez
- Previous experience in a customer service role
- Previous experience living in a residence hall environment and/or with summer camps
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
- It is a requirement of this position to live on campus in a residence hall
- Must be willing and able to work evenings, nights, weekends, and/or "overtime" hours as needed, and be placed on an "On-Call" rotating schedule during the evening and weekends
