The Director of Conference and Dining provides leadership for advancing and overseeing the daily operations of LCCC’s conferencing and dining Services, ensuring the organization is managed and performing efficiently and effectively, and delivering exceptional customer service and guest experiences. The Director provides vision, leadership, strategic direction and oversight to an enterprise of service departments on campus (Conferencing, Catering, Marketplace Starbucks, among others). The Director serves as a resource to departments, acts as an ambassador of the college, and engages and serves LCCC students and community.
The Director of Conference and Dining has direct line responsibility to the Vice President for Strategic and Institutional Development and is a member of the College’s Administrative Leadership Team.
Responsibilities
Administration: manages budgets and department financials; Provides leadership of dining and conferencing personnel, ensures facility, technology and equipment are adequate to fulfill operations, and ensures operations complies with all health and safety regulations, recommends and administers policies and procedures.
Campus Dining Services: Provides proprietor services and marketing services to promote campus conferencing and catering operations. Manages all dining services and related personnel and activities.
Campus Retail Food Operations: directs campus retail food operations.
LCCC Vending Services: Oversees vending operations
