Concrete and Terrazzo Finisher creates, smoothes, and finishes surfaces of poured concrete floors, walls, sidewalks, or curbs. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Concrete and Terrazzo Finisher is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Additionally, Concrete and Terrazzo Finisher performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for applying finishes to freshly poured concrete surfaces. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work with various tools and materials.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare concrete surfaces for finishing by setting forms, grading subgrade,
- know how to use all the finishing tools needed for residential concrete
- Use power tools and hand tools to shape and smooth concrete surfaces
- Operate machinery such as concrete saws and grinders-
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or similar role
- Strong knowledge of concrete finishing techniques and materials
- Ability to interpret construction plans/layout
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Flooring installation experience is a plus
