Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Computer Technician to join our team. As a Computer Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to our clients. This is a great opportunity for individuals with strong computer skills and a passion for customer service.Duties:
- Communicate with the end user about their description of their computer problem while asking questions to identify the problem and determine how to solve it This may include software installation, hardware troubleshooting and repair, and system configuration.
- Perform computer networking tasks such as setting up LAN connections, configuring routers, and troubleshooting network issues.
- Assist in the maintenance and management of IT infrastructure, including servers, switches, and firewalls.
- Install and configure Windows operating systems on desktops and laptops.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide timely resolutions to technical issues.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and effective communication.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all technical procedures and resolutions.Requirements:
- Proven experience in computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
- Knowledge of computer networking concepts, including VPNs and LAN connections.
- Proficient in Windows operating systems and software applications.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
