Administrative Specialist

Eastern Computer Exchange, Inc. is looking for a motivated, proactive, and solutions-driven individual to join our global sales and operations team. If you’re goal-oriented, have experience in sales administration, and draw energy from being part of a team we would like to meet you!

The Administrative Specialist role is perfect for someone who is eager to tackle a wide range of initiatives that will help accelerate our growth. As a member of our team, you will be helping our account executives achieve optimal sales performance by providing excellent administrative support to ensure sales targets are met.

The Position:

• Manage the opportunity and order process lifecycle between Sales, Manufacturing, and Finance
• Guide the sales team alignment to sales processes, policies, and procedures
• Work closely with Sales Engineering, Finance, Marketing, and other internal teams to support the sales team's success
• Maintaining and updating sales and customer records
• Assistance in developing quarterly sales reports
• Light calendar/schedule management
• Supporting account executives and the sales department with other administrative tasks, if requested
• Identify areas of opportunity to improve order execution process and recommend solutions

Skills and Experience You’ll Bring to Eastern:

• Ability to respond and react to internal teams and external customers
• Tech savvy, highly collaborative, motivated, and focused on the needs of others
• Displays excellent troubleshooting and creative problem-solving skills, knows when to act quickly
• Attention to detail & time management; an ability to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple high-level projects
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, particular focus in Excel, ERP financial proposal and CRM systems (NetSuite, ConnectWise Sell) preferred, Adobe Acrobat, database management skills
• Ability to work on an independent level; can delve deep into projects without losing focus on multiple tasks
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills with ability to develop internal professional relationships
• Operates in a cooperative and collaborative spirit to achieve shared goals across multiple functions
• Ability to articulate needs for process improvements
• HS diploma with 1-5 years of experience within similar role

The base salary range for this position is $49,000-$59,000. Eastern has provided this range as a reasonable estimate of the annualized base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, geographic location, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
