Our industrial client in the Siouxland area has opened a position for a Service Tech to assist with Computer assemble projects. Having computer repair or IT experience is helpful.Hours will be:Days: Mon – Fri 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMService Tech Responsibilities are, however, will not be limited to:
- Diagnose malfunctions of computer hardware for the purpose of determining the appropriate parts needed for the repair of the computer
- Orders necessary parts via multiple vendor websites, adhering to the policies and procedures specific to each one.
- Knowledge of various tools and techniques involved in computer repair
- Ability to disassemble and assemble a wide variety of computers for repair purposes
- Maintain accurate repair records using designated applications provided
- Participates in all aspects of shipping, receiving, organizing, and storing of goods in the warehouse
- Ability to manage the installation of custom images on several computers simultaneously
- Ability to work with limited supervision on a daily basis
- Ability to perform inventory counts and audits as needed
- Ability to perform data collection and recording
