We are looking for a motivated and customer-oriented IT Helpdesk Support to join our team. The IT Helpdesk Support will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, resolving their IT-related issues, and ensuring that our systems and software run smoothly. The ideal candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to communicate effectively, and work collaboratively with other members of the IT team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person
· Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, and network-related issues
· Escalate complex issues to the appropriate IT staff when necessary
· Document and track all incidents and service requests in the helpdesk ticketing system
· Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment
· Provide training and guidance to end-users on how to use various software applications and hardware devices
· Maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure that all software and hardware licenses are up-to-date
· Collaborate with other members of the IT team to identify and implement system improvements and upgrades
· Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in IT support and make recommendations for improvements
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
· At least 2 years of experience in providing IT support to end-users
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
· Familiarity with Windows and Mac operating systems, as well as common productivity and collaboration tools
· Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and VPN technologies
· Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems and remote support tools
· Relevant IT certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) are a plus.
Working Conditions: The IT Helpdesk Support will work in an office environment. They may be required to work outside of regular business hours or be on-call for after-hours support.
Physical Requirements: The IT Helpdesk Support may be required to lift and move computer equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
