Computer Operations Manager is responsible for the efficient and effective management of an organization's computer operations. Implements department policies and procedures to effectively operate and maintain computer systems and peripherals. Being a Computer Operations Manager manages the operation of information system equipment including scheduling workflow, maintenance, and capacity plans. Continuously monitors the efficacy of computer operations, backup processes, system monitors, and server availability to ensure operation goals are met. Additionally, Computer Operations Manager researches and evaluates potential equipment upgrades to improve the capabilities of computer operations. Ensures computer operations activities meet pre-established production targets and maintain operating budgets. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Computer Operations Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Computer Operations Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     We are seeking an IT Infrastructure Manager for our Business Intelligence Content Management Operations team. Applications you will manage include Xnet/Content Cloud, FileNet, Power BI, Business Objects, and SAS. You will work with infrastructure leaders and engineers, Enterprise Architects, Information Security teams, banking system owners, and other technology stakeholders to support and deliver mission-critical services. You will cultivate partnerships with architecture and engineering practices to evolve our capabilities in areas like cloud enablement, system resiliency, and automation. Your team will design, develop, configure, test, and support technology solutions in support of divisional and enterprise objectives and key results (OKR).     The Technology Reliability Engineering and Operations (TREO) organization is a key information technology group supporting our valued internal and external customers.     The IT Infrastructure Technology Manager will:
    • Ensure the stability and continuity of these critical systems.
    • Manage a team of engineers to ensure optimal performance as well as meeting their needs.
    • Optimize work through automation and other techniques.
    • Lead the team in support of critical business functions to meet organizational objectives.
    • Ensure the solutions meet the requirements of all stakeholders including business, technology, risk, and operations, with a secure, accurate, available, and compliant technology solution.
    • Ensure the team has the needed technical skills, competencies, business domain expertise, process knowledge, industry sector knowledge, and capacity to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
    • Manage vendor relationships, ensuring the vendors’ performance and contributions align with organizational objectives and strategy.
    • Manage the total cost of ownership of the platform including hardware, software, FTE and contractors, and professional services of the application.
    • Actively participate in audits, regular credential approvals and reaccreditation, regulatory and other trainings, change management, vulnerability management, supply chain purchasing and budgeting, DR testing and validation, controls and other related work.

    Technical Skills and Qualifications:
    • Experience with dashboard reporting platforms including Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, and Business Objects.
    • Experience with content management platforms including Content Cloud Navigator, XNET, FileNet, and various content file conversion tools.
    • General understanding of ITSM operational principles and practices
    • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be able to communicate effectively with senior business and technical management, vendors, and team members.
    • Proven ability to identify, analyze and solve problems through close attention to detail.
    • Excellent leadership, management, and organizational skills.
    • Requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or other related degree or experience.
    • 6 years’ experience managing information technology teams.

    Preferred:
    • Agile development methodologies (e.g., SAFe, Kanban, Scrum)
    • Experience managing complex customer facing platforms, processes, and tools.
    • Strong working knowledge of financial/banking systems preferred.

    A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.

    Location: This position has a hybrid work from home schedule with a minimum of four days per week in the office at the Zions Technology Center in Midvale, UT.
