Computer Operations Manager is responsible for the efficient and effective management of an organization's computer operations. Implements department policies and procedures to effectively operate and maintain computer systems and peripherals. Being a Computer Operations Manager manages the operation of information system equipment including scheduling workflow, maintenance, and capacity plans. Continuously monitors the efficacy of computer operations, backup processes, system monitors, and server availability to ensure operation goals are met. Additionally, Computer Operations Manager researches and evaluates potential equipment upgrades to improve the capabilities of computer operations. Ensures computer operations activities meet pre-established production targets and maintain operating budgets. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Computer Operations Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Computer Operations Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Position Overview: As a vital member of our team, you will wear two hats – as a Venue Assistant and as a Production Manager. Your role will encompass a range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the smooth operation of our venue and delivering top-notch productions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Venue Assistant/Assistant to GM:

    • Collaborate closely with the General Manager to oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Manage and coordinate projects from conception to completion, demonstrating exceptional organizational skills.
    • Take charge of staff management, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
    • Conduct thorough research, analyze data, and prepare insightful reports to aid in decision-making processes.
    • Source quotes and present comprehensive proposals to the General Manager for consideration.
    • Serve as a liaison between the General Manager and various departments, facilitating seamless communication and coordination.
    • Provide administrative support to ensure streamlined processes and operations.
    • Uphold company policies and procedures to maintain a high standard of professionalism and compliance.
    • Undertake any additional tasks as required to support the overall objectives of the organization.

    Production Manager:

    • Utilize your extensive experience in production management within the club and theater realm to oversee all aspects of production.
    • Handle settlements for promoters and artists, including negotiating deals and ensuring financial accuracy.
    • Collaborate with vendors to source production requirements, ensuring the seamless execution of shows.
    • Advance shows at the club and theater levels, meticulously planning and coordinating logistics.
    • Foster strong relationships with artists and tour crews, ensuring their needs are met while staying within budget constraints.
    • Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills, maintaining composure and efficiency under pressure.

    Required Skills:

    • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, essential for building strong relationships and facilitating effective collaboration.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of resolving complex issues in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to thrive under pressure, remaining calm and composed in high-stakes situations.
    • Highly developed organizational skills, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
    • Proven ability to coach and provide constructive criticism to team members, fostering their growth and development.
    • Previous tour experience at the club and theater levels would be advantageous.

    Compensation: This position offers a competitive hourly pay range of $28 to $32, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
