Resource Manager

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Resource Manager to join our Professional Services team. The Resource Manager will be responsible for optimizing resource allocation, scheduling, and utilization to ensure the efficient delivery of services to our clients. They will work closely with project managers, consultants, and other stakeholders to balance workload, maximize productivity, and drive overall project success.
Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with project managers to understand project requirements, timelines, and resource needs.

Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the skills, expertise, and availability of consultants within the organization.

Develop and maintain resource allocation plans to ensure the appropriate assignment of consultants to projects based on skillset, availability, and project requirements.

Monitor project progress and resource utilization, proactively identifying and addressing resource constraints or conflicts.

Coordinate with recruitment and HR teams to onboard new consultants and ensure alignment with project needs.

Manage the resource scheduling process, including assignment changes, time off requests, and adjustments to project timelines.

Communicate effectively with consultants and project teams regarding resource allocations, schedule changes, and project priorities.

Track and analyze key performance indicators related to resource utilization, project efficiency, and overall service delivery.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field; additional certification in project management or resource management is a plus.

3 years of experience in resource management, project management, or professional services operations.

Knowledge of ERP; preferably AX

Experience with ServiceNow

Strong understanding of project management methodologies and practices.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing priorities.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Proficiency in resource management tools and software.

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Experience working in a professional services or consulting environment is preferred.
