Primary Responsibilities:

The CNC Mill-Turn Programmer role at M&J Precision is expected to have a comprehensive understanding of all CNC machining (milling and turning) and programming operations related to large diameter mill-turn parts from aluminum to exotic materials. Ideal candidates should have experience working with machined parts up to 220” in diameter. This role is tasked with working in concert with machinists, leads, and engineering teams to develop and implement new manufacturing processes.

Basic Qualifications:

• Candidates must possess a High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Candidates must have Experience in CNC programming in 5-axis milling and turning.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Understanding of GD&T
• Understanding of AS9100 and Aerospace quality expectations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5 axis machining/programming experience with Mazak Integrex and Mazak Variaxis machines
• 10 years of CNC programming experience using Mastercam or other CAD/CAM software
• Programming of mill-turn parts up to 220” in diameter
• Experience machining in a prototype environment
