    Responsibilities

    ABOUT THE JOB: 

     

    Type: Full-Time  

    Location: Remote. Work from home. 

    Days and Shift Hours: Monday - Friday general corporate hours based on business needs. Flexibility required. 

    Rate of Pay:  $26.44 - 33.65 per hour DOE

    Position Overview: 

     

    The Compliance Specialist supports the development and implementation of compliance programs, policies, reporting, and practices for Matrix.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

     

    • Monitors activities impacted by regulatory requirements related to the organization's governance and any industry-specific or location-specific laws. 
    • Utilizes established internal controls and auditing systems to identify, detect, and report noncompliance to Leadership. 
    • Implements changes to compliance processes due to the results of internal audits, new or amended regulations, or client contractual requirements. 
    • Tracks, prepares, and updates internal and external communication materials. 
    • Assists with training initiatives that inform stakeholders about compliance requirements. 
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • 1 Year Related Experience:
    • Internal Audit 
    • Internal Controls 
    • Regulatory Environment 
    • Regulatory Reporting 
    • Training Program Administration 
    • Compliance Documentation 
    • Governance, Risk & Compliance Software

    Technical Requirements: Hi speed Internet required. Conducive office work space to allow for privacy.

    Supervisory Responsibilities: None  

    Travel: Less than 10%.
