Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Site Safety Manager to join our team. As a Site Safety Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day safety operations at construction sites, ensuring and enforcing safety compliance within the job site and communicating with general contractors, subcontractors and owners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Environment, Health, Safety and construction safety.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations, including OSHA and DOB standards
• Develop and implement safety programs and procedures to minimize risk and promote occupational health
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols
• Coordinate construction logistics with site supers
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of projects
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
• Manage documentation related to permits, licenses, and regulatory requirements
• Conduct regular meetings with site personnel to address any concerns or issues

Requirements:

• DOB Site Safety Manager license
• FDNY Construction Site Fire Safety Manager (S-56)
• 62 Hour SST card
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $60.00 - $75.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
