Compliance Coordinator
What will I be doing:
The primary focus will be working with our Recruitment team in qualifying, hiring and onboarding our travel, local long term and per diem Nurses and Respiratory and Radiology Allied employees, as well ensuring that our employees have the best possible experience in their assignments with AHP. Specifically, this individual will credential and qualify new hires in hospital settings to ensure candidates meet the requirements set forth by AHP, our Hospital clients and the Joint Commission. Additionally, you'll work with each recruiter to act as primary points of contacts for our Highly qualified employees.
The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Conduct professional reference checks
-Brand resumes to fit AHP's format
-Secure and verify immunization records
-Assign and review applicable skills checklists and competency exams
-Process all client specific paperwork to candidates
-Process al paperwork to run applicable drug screens
-Process paperwork to run applicable criminal background checks
-Process all new hire paperwork
-Input information into AHP's proprietary tracking computer programs and into client specific VMS systems
-Maintain compliance of all current AHP staff members
-Fulltime, flexible hours - Schedule your work days Monday-Sunday 6am-9pm to work with your schedule and life!
-Conduct daily check-in calls with all employees to keep their credentials current throughout their assignments
-Act as a Liaison between recruitment team and employees
-Work closely with recruitment and staffing team to take over the credentialing process with employees so they can begin to work
-Provide feedback to recruiters and to client Hospitals to complete our employees hiring and credentialing process for AHP and the Hospitals
-Ensure employees stay in credential compliance throughout each employees assignments.
What you need to have:
- Must be detail oriented
-Must be able to multitask and manage a large amount of candidate profiles
-Must be energetic and team oriented
-Must be able to meet deadlines
-Working knowledge of RN specialties/medical terminology, preferred
-Working knowledge and interpretation of immunization records (MMR, Varicella, Hep B., etc.)
-Working knowledge of industry specific VMS technologies, prefreeed (Optimizer, AyaConnect, ShiftWise, Peoplefluent, Fieldglass, etc.)
