Who we want… (Requirements)
Provides clerical support in a wide range of activities that include, but are not limited to, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Tasks that may be associated are:
Monitor project cash inflows and outflows, ensuring that all vendors are paid according to terms. Establish national accounts to maximize discounts, rebates, and volume pricing.
Prints and mail vendor check payments or upload electronic payments to online banking portal, paying
specific attention to discount opportunities.
Communicates with vendors regarding unresolved balances and or discrepancies.
Own all payables processing primarily within a cloud-based integrated accounting system including contract processing and vendor payments.
Process company expense reimbursements utilizing Concur Expense with electronic file transfer. Ensure
team member expense reimbursements are in accordance with company policies and procedure.
Maintains compliance with subcontractors in Textura to ensure that lien waivers, insurance and other key requirements are completed and submitted prior to payment being made.
Monitors expiration dates on company licenses and project specific insurance to ensure that Company stays in compliance with appropriate authorities. Completes reporting requirements for Contractors or Owner Controlled Insurance programs or statutory insurance reporting requirement.
Prepare and record general ledger journal entries into accounting software system, including job cost allocations and journal entries.

What we expect… (Essential Functions)
The successful candidate will have high school degree and two (2) years of experience in accounting/controls, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in construction accounting is highly preferred.
The selected candidate will have excellent communication skills. Must be physically present in the Lexington office.
Must possess proficient computer skills including the ability to utilize a cloud-based integrated accounting system, spreadsheets, word processing and e-mail applications. Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, possess excellent communication skills and be able to coordinate efforts with internal Gray personnel. Construction job cost and CMIC experience a plus.
