Job Title: Compliance Officer (Contract for an estimated 2-3 months)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Compliance Officer to join our team on a contract basis to assist with a specific project. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our organization's commitment to regulatory compliance in the financial services industry.

Job Description: As a Compliance Officer contractor, you will be responsible for ensuring that our organization complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies governing real estate partnerships and investments. You will work closely with our internal teams to assess compliance risks, develop and implement policies and procedures, and monitor activities to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough reviews of existing compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
• Identify potential compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Monitor and interpret regulatory requirements from relevant regulatory bodies (e.g., SEC, FINRA, FCA).
• Develop and implement new compliance policies and procedures as needed.
• Provide guidance and support to internal teams and help develop SOPs to make sure all branding and messaging is compliant.
• Conduct compliance reviews, audits, and investigations as necessary.
• Prepare and submit reports and documentation as required.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams.
• Relay any changes in regulations, industry standards, and make suggestions for best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, law, or a related field.
• [Optional] Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, JD) or professional certifications (e.g., CRCM, CAMS, CFE) preferred.
• Previous experience in compliance roles within the financial or real estate industry preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance principles.
