Kwik Trip is looking for a hardworking and highly motivated individual to join our Treasury team as an auditor. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working alongside multiple departments to create new auditing processes and procedures while maintaining confidential information.

A summary of the responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Examine financial and inventory transactions to make sure they are accurate and transparent.
• Review payment processing transactions and files
• Review contract terms and invoices/POs
• Perform three way matching
• Be aware, question and research any additional inconsistencies that are noticed
• Review auto posting invoices for accuracy
• Develop and maintain processes and functions throughout the company that ensure policy compliance and transparency.
• Establish document and data retention policies.
• Run, audit and distribute reports to the leadership team as requested
• Identify any potential fraud indicators
• Making recommendations based off of data and research to leadership

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree or higher.
• Minimum of 3-5 years auditing and/or accounts payable experience.
• Strong PC skills including proficiency in Excel including filtering, vlookup, functions and formulas.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Strong work ethic, team player, and high degree of professionalism and ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information.
• Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills.
• Organized, accurate and detail orientated.
• Working knowledge of PO systems and the reconciliation of a PO into an invoice.
• Knowledge of SAP and the AS400 accounting systems, as well as document retention and routing systems.
• Knowledge of financial accounting practices including an understanding of the general ledger.
• Experience with NIST a plus

Work schedule:  Generally, Monday through Friday, working daytime hours.
