The Labor Compliance Coordinator understands that team is more important than self interest. They see the value of keeping a professional image as a first point of contact, being effective in the compliance requirements of the project, and of supporting staff for maximum effectiveness.
They are responsible for providing intermediate to advanced labor compliance support to the project team and has the knowledge of being able to, by way of experience, execute with proficiency all duties of the Labor Compliance Coordinator. The role requires initiative, decisiveness, flexibility and adaptability. They must be approachable, with a focus on friendly and respectful professional communication and collaboration with the organization and our client, architect, inspector, and subcontractors. They are required to achieve integration of the role as a contributing team member for superior results in the seven Project Performance Objectives of: Client Satisfaction, Company Contribution, Gross Profit, Quality, Safety, Schedule, and Team Development.

3 years in multiple sub-contractor Contract Compliance, Labor Compliance Monitoring for Federal funded or Public Works General Construction. Compliance Seminars and Workshops offered by D.I.R., 3rd Party Compliance Monitoring and Approved Plans. Understanding of labor laws, job specifications, work classifications and minimum wage determinations. Ability to produce clear verbal and written communication in English with proper grammar, spelling and sentence structure and build relationships with contractors to both help and enforce compliance.
Physical Demands / Environment:
This is an office position with work occurring at our Corporate Main Office. Visiting multiple projects is required. Involves walking, effective communication, listening, using hands to operate office equipment. May require the use of exterior portable restroom. Vision abilities required for computer work, reading, writing, typing, data entry and the ability to adjust focus. The employee may be required to push, pull, lift and /or carry up to 20 pounds; attempt no greater weight without assistance. The noise level in the work environment is an active open office.
