About the Opportunity:
First Help Financial, recently voted “Great Place to Work”, for three years in a row is seeking a highly motivated Licensing Compliance Coordinator to join our growing team! This is an exciting new opportunity for an individual to join a growing company and compliance team.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Coordinator to support the efficient functioning of our Compliance department. The ideal candidate will excel in providing administrative assistance, coordinating projects, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
What you will do:
Your duties include, but are not limited to:
• Assist in preparing for audits by gathering, organizing, and managing relevant documentation
• Provide administrative support for special projects within the Compliance department
• Coordinate document management tasks, including tracking, reviewing, and controlling versions of policies, procedures, and compliance-related documents
• Engage with contract vendors to maintain a list of current versions
• Facilitate and coordinate Compliance training programs, as well as maintain accurate training records
• Support the upload of OFAC scrub files to our vendor system
• Develop training documents and guides for departmental use
• Take meeting notes and coordinate follow-up actions to ensure completion of tasks
• Assist in scheduling meetings, training sessions, and other departmental events
• Participate in meetings to stay updated on new developments, policies, and guidelines
• Other duties as assigned
What you bring:
• Must be available to travel for Department events
• 3 years of experience in a Compliance Coordinator role or similar experience
• Associate degree
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Familiarity with compliance regulations and procedures is preferred
• Proficiency in document management, record-keeping, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
