Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Home Care Staffing Coordinator at University Home Care in Livonia, Michigan. As a Contractor Healthcare/Medical professional, you will play a vital role in ensuring quality care for our patients by effectively coordinating the staffing needs of our home care services. This is an individual contributor role, where you will work closely with both our clinical and administrative teams to provide exceptional support and service.
Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this position ranges from $17 to $23 per hour, paid weekly.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for scheduling and coordinating home care staff, such as nurses, therapists, and aides.
- Work closely with administrative and clinical teams to understand staffing needs and ensure proper coverage for all client visits.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date staffing schedules, including any changes or updates.
- Communicate with home care staff to confirm appointments and ensure timely arrival at patient homes.
- Proactively monitor and address any scheduling conflicts or issues as they arise.
- Coordinate and schedule orientation and training for new home care staff.
- Keep all employee files and records up-to-date and in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field (Not Required)
- Previous experience in staffing or scheduling, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, home care services, and healthcare regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling software, answering phones.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
