Compliance Analyst (Banking), Sr. monitors customer accounts and researches transactions to identify suspicious activity violating current anti-money laundering (AML) regulations defined in the US Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) or other governmental anti-terrorist financing programs. Uses customer data mining and software tools to identify suspicious activity patterns. Being a Compliance Analyst (Banking), Sr. reviews daily Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) and Questionable Activity Reports (QAR), and submits Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR) as appropriate. Ensures adherence to Know your Customer (KYC) protocols. Additionally, Compliance Analyst (Banking), Sr. may lead or participate in investigations of suspicious activity to pursue corrective actions and ensure completion of required filings. Keeps abreast with regulatory changes, risk management best practices, and trending methods used by fraud perpetrators. Delivers compliance training with up-to-date regulatory information and procedures to develop and guide a well-informed staff. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. May have the Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification. Typically reports to a manager. The Compliance Analyst (Banking), Sr. occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     • Reports financial information by evaluating and communicating financial trends, findings in data analysis reports, and forecasts of income and expense; reviewing and communicating assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses; and using data/inputs from systems to support analyses (e.g., membership and utilization reports, volume reporting, analysis spreadsheets, investment schedules)
    • Supports operations by analyzing and interpreting their operational/financial performance; and determining areas of improvement

    Your Credentials:
    • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, or statistics.
    • Professional Experience: Five (5) experience in Financial Planning & Analysis in healthcare
    • Proficiency in conducting thorough analyses of internal and external factors, formulating strategic initiatives, and providing actionable recommendations.
    • Innovative and Strategic Thinking: A track record of successfully contributing to the alignment of business goals with overarching strategic plans, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and key drivers that impact organizational success.
    • Communication and Decision-Making Abilities: Excellent written, oral, presentation, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
    • Technological Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience with data mining systems, Business Objects, and SAS are a plus. Proficiently demonstrate intermediate-level proficiency in programming languages crucial for conducting comprehensive data analysis.
