  • Summary:

    The Pricing Manager is an individual contributor role that will be responsible for establishing and managing pricing strategies and enabling analytics to maximize price realization for DecoPac products and services that create long-term value for the organization. This position will leverage marketplace knowledge and analytic skills to assess product performance trends in order to identify opportunities to improve product price mix and marketing strategies and make recommendations to executive leadership.

    Responsibility:

    • Develop recommendations and help lead implementation of new capabilities (e.g., methodology, tools, process, data) that strengthen DecoPac’s price and sales analytics acumen.
    • Lead the development and evaluation of pricing strategies and actions, and build recommendations to improve revenue, units and profitability by product format and customer. Recommendations encompass price points, price mix, and customer price lists. Focus on core BTB business while supporting efforts for new DTC business revenue models.
    • Evaluate product performance trends and identify actions to address risks and opportunities; collaborate with product and customer team leads in synthesizing insights and building recommended actions (e.g., product/price mix, product lifecycle management, marketing program actions, etc.).
    • Build sales and marketplace data “fact book” inclusive of internal sales and margin performance, industry and customer data, and third-party research, and use this broadened view to strengthen decision-making. Datasets include PPI/CPI, retail pricing and competitive offerings.
    • Prepare KPI and other reports for senior leadership that evaluate results of pricing and product performance. Participate in integrated business planning process to establish business goals.
    • Mine data, analyze and interpret results using standard statistical tools and techniques; partner with organizational peers in Finance, Integrated Business Planning, and Product to identify enterprise-wide training and development opportunities to improve data analytics acumen.
    • Organize and facilitate Pricing Governance meetings to drive strategic direction and timelines in alignment with Company leaders. Facilitate other supporting pricing workflow meetings as required (e.g., Customer Special Request approvals, input cost forecast reviews, new product tier attributes, etc.)


    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Statistics, Engineering or related field preferred.
    • 5 years’ experience working as a pricing analyst or pricing strategist in B2B product management, sales, finance, or marketing required.
    • Price analytics, data analysis and reporting, and database management experience required.
    • Experience working in a high SKU count environment preferred.
    • Experience working in the food industry preferred.
    • Proficient user of MS Office, Excel spreadsheets, and web-based applications.
