We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Pricing Analyst to join our team in Garfield, NJ!

The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for analyzing pricing data, identifying trends, and making recommendations to optimize pricing strategies for products and services offered by the company. The ideal candidate will have strong data analysis skills and experience with data visualization tools.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct thorough market research to understand market trends, competitor pricing strategies, customer demand, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and implement effective pricing strategies that align with the company's business goals and objectives.
• Analyze internal and external data related to costs, sales, and market dynamics to make informed pricing decisions. Utilize data mining techniques to extract insights from large datasets.
• Evaluate the costs involved in product development, production, and distribution to ensure pricing strategies cover costs and meet profit margin targets.
• Set prices for new and existing products or services based on research and analysis findings.
• Work closely with marketing, sales, and product development teams to align pricing strategies with market positioning and promotional campaigns.
• Monitor the performance of pricing strategies and adjust as necessary to respond to market changes, customer feedback, and business objectives.
• Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on pricing strategy effectiveness, market trends, and competitive landscape.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data and make informed pricing decisions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting findings and strategies to stakeholders.
• 2- 4 years of experience in pricing, finance, or a similar analytical role is preferred.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI) and an understanding of pricing software and databases.
• Ability to work meticulously with numbers and complex data sets.
• Understanding of the industry and market trends affecting pricing decisions.
