    Responsibilities

    • Perform technical analysis of the engineering documents, including component maintenance manuals and structural repair manuals (CMM’s and SRM’s), to determine labor and material requirements for a specific customer’s repair quotes and to develop program or menu pricing.
    • Through the utilization of standard tools, develop repair cost estimates, proposals and business decision data for product development, established programs and other management requests to enhance the revenue of existing contracts/programs and to support the pursuit of new business.
    • Analyze repair costs, incorporating labor and materials, using historical data and hardware descriptions
    • Create and maintain database of all contracts to ensure correct selling price of repairs and use in future work bids.
    • Take a lead role in a small cross-functional team, e.g., Quality, Engineering, Operations, Customer Service team to ensure the customer receives a quality product on time.
    • Manage the process for collecting data from functional representatives, subcontractors, and vendors.
    • Develop and maintain estimating tools and data.
    • Participate in fact-finding with functional teams and customers to support the proposal manager in the new business process.

    Qualifications

    • Cost Modeling experience
    • Experience in aerospace or aviation
    • Intermediate level competency in Excel
    • Experience with SAP or other ERP system, extracting data and/or creating reports in the systems

     

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred in finance, business or engineering
    • Experience in aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul
    • Working knowledge of aircraft parts
