Position Summary: Takes lead role in overseeing the maximization of gasoline gross profit and gallon sales through ensuring that all sites are priced in accordance with corporate strategy. . Meet budgeted fiscal year goals set for our department. . Prepare daily/weekly/monthly analyses to assess performance results. Generate reports for many levels of executive management and operations personnel and conducting analysis of underperforming sites and to make recommendations

Responsibilities:

• Assist Department Head in day-to-day operations of the department.
• Monitor the NYMEX daily to track petroleum product costs.
• Discuss pricing strategy with Department team on a daily basis following morning pricing session.
• Ensuring retail sites are priced through the use of Kalibrate Pricing Software, verifying and reviewing cost daily, reviewing competitor pricing and volume targets
• Manages daily snapshot report which presents current margin performance, volume performance and weekly projection which in turn is utilized to modify specific site pricing as warranted
• Interact and discuss site specific strategies with Region Mgrs/Divisional VP’s/Sr. VP of Operations. The goal is to maximize gallons sold and gross profit.
• Responsible for data flow in and out of Kalibrate Pricing Software as well as ensuring system is working properly. This includes but not limited to, all station pricing profiles, competition surveys, and cost data.

Prepare various performance reports to Department Head and Sr. Vice President of Retail Operations.

Working Relationships: Provides internal and external customer service to the follow groups/teams: Field Operations, Tax Department, Accounting Department, Dispatch Department, Operations Services Department, Financial Planning and Analysis Department, Construction Department, Environmental Department, IT Department

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree Required

Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree with focus in finance/statistics/business

Minimum Experience: 3-5 years management / leadership experience

Preferred Experience: 5-7 years management / leadership experience

Soft Skills:

Other: Must have strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills, excellent analytical skills and the ability to make timely and effective decisions and the ability to manage quantity and quality of workload, working independently and able to take initiative.

Hours & Conditions: Full Time with weekend commitment

Driving/Fleet Vehicle Requirement: No driving violations – able to use company car
