Mission:
Quantum Research International is currently seeking an entry level Pricing Analyst. As a Pricing Analyst, under the guidance of the Manager of Pricing and Budgets, you will develop and prepare pricing schedules and cost volumes in response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQ), Requests for Information (RFIs), Rough Order of Magnitudes (ROMs), etc. for Quantum Research and its subsidiaries in Huntsville, Alabama.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with finance, program control, contracts, business development and technical personnel to meet immediate and anticipated pricing requirements.
- Evaluation of Request for Proposals (RFP) and/or Requests for Quotes (RFQ); determine functional inputs that will be required for successful proposal submittal and communicate those requirements to the team in a timely and effective manner.
- Generate and present pricing packages for internal and external management reviews and submissions to customers.
- Evaluation of Functional Inputs and assuring all requirements are proposed appropriately and are compliant with the Request for Proposal (RFP).
- Demonstrate an understanding of various contract types, including CPFF, FFP, T&M, and others.
- Maintain well-documented records, participate in cost reviews, respond to rate, and budget questions, and is required to adhere to and comply with corporate policies, procedures, and GSA schedules.
- Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), primarily subpart 15.4.
- Analyze data (primarily historical program cost data and salary survey data) to conduct cost estimates for proposals and various internal analyses.
- The Pricing Analyst may be required to perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization including assisting with contractual issues when required.
Requirements:
- An associate degree (bachelor’s degree preferred) or 2 years relevant Government contract pricing experience in lieu of a degree with proven record of experience.
- Able to review solicitation requirements, and develop timely, accurate, and compliant cost models and narratives.
- Exceptional written communication skills, able to write reports, create tracking spreadsheets and effectively communicate with vendors, auditors, and staff with the highest level of professionalism.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to analyze an RFP to identify risks and interpret solicitation requirements.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical computations.
- High degree of self-motivation and the ability to work with no supervision while preforming duties.
- Ability to multi-task, attentive to detail, highly organized, maintains complete and orderly files to ensure an audit ready posture.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, primarily Word and Excel; experience with Deltek Costpoint a plus.
- Must be willing to work extended hours, when necessary.
