Compensation and Benefits Supervisor leads a team in developing, implementing, communicating, and administering compensation and benefits programs, policies, and procedures. Supervises daily compensation and benefit operations including survey participation, job evaluation, salary structure development, base pay administration, incentive plan design and analysis, planning for health and welfare, retirement, and work life benefits. Being a Compensation and Benefits Supervisor coordinates with outsourced providers. May provide customer support to managers and staff with compensation or benefits questions. Additionally, Compensation and Benefits Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Compensation and Benefits Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Compensation and Benefits Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Job Purpose: Administers CFI’s group and individual compensation and benefits programs. Provides timely and accurate service to staff, manages processes for existing programs, and monitors vendor performance. Provides analytical and technical support in the delivery of the compensation and benefits programs, to support and establish competitive programs that attract, retain, and motivate employees.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Required Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensure and Credentials: (Where appropriate, education and/or experience may be substituted) Minimum Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business, Finance or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Issued By Governing Body: CCP, CEBS certifications preferred, along with evidence of keeping current with compensation and benefits laws and trends by attendance at workshops and seminars.
Travel outside of office: 0-10% travel in the communities we serve

Required Auto Insurance: Vehicle liability insurance in accordance with Agency policy

Physical Requirements: Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
