Compensation and Benefits Supervisor leads a team in developing, implementing, communicating, and administering compensation and benefits programs, policies, and procedures. Supervises daily compensation and benefit operations including survey participation, job evaluation, salary structure development, base pay administration, incentive plan design and analysis, planning for health and welfare, retirement, and work life benefits. Being a Compensation and Benefits Supervisor coordinates with outsourced providers. May provide customer support to managers and staff with compensation or benefits questions. Additionally, Compensation and Benefits Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Compensation and Benefits Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Compensation and Benefits Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.   • Key Responsibilities:

    • Compensation Strategy & Management:
      • Develop and implement a competitive compensation philosophy that attracts, motivates, and retains top talent.
      • Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed of industry trends and best practices.
      • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our compensation structure, including base salaries, bonuses, and incentives.
      • Manage the annual compensation review process, ensuring fairness and alignment with performance.
      • Perform due diligence with all M&A activity including salary band review, benefit cost analysis, variable pay and other incentive programs.
      • Partner with leadership to develop long-term compensation strategies aligned with business goals.
      • Documenting and enhancing multiple variable pay programs (commissions, spot rewards, on-call bonuses and equity).
    • Benefits Administration & Management:
      • Lead the selection, administration, and communication of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary benefits.
      • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations.
      • Associate as main partner with benefits vendors to negotiate favorable terms and secure optimal service delivery.
      • Manage the benefits budget and identify opportunities for cost savings.
      • Develop and implement employee communication strategies to educate and engage employees on all benefits programs.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
    • 7 years of experience in a Compensation and Benefits leadership role.
    • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful compensation and benefits strategies.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
    • Experience leading and managing change initiatives, M&A experience highly preferred.
    • Proficiency in HR technology and data analysis tools (e.g., HRIS systems, compensation benchmarking tools).
    • Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws related to compensation and benefits.
    • Passion for employee wellbeing and engagement.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate and inspire others.

    Physical Demands:

    Sedentary work environment- Exerts up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, a negligible amount of force frequently, and/or constantly having to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
