Compensation and Benefits Supervisor leads a team in developing, implementing, communicating, and administering compensation and benefits programs, policies, and procedures. Supervises daily compensation and benefit operations including survey participation, job evaluation, salary structure development, base pay administration, incentive plan design and analysis, planning for health and welfare, retirement, and work life benefits. Being a Compensation and Benefits Supervisor coordinates with outsourced providers. May provide customer support to managers and staff with compensation or benefits questions. Additionally, Compensation and Benefits Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Compensation and Benefits Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Compensation and Benefits Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Receive inbound calls and direct them to the appropriate party Give information and help to solve customer problems Assist with eligibility, enrollment, implementation, renewal, and annual review processes Process and ensure accuracy of client forms and applications for submission Verify coverage for providers Communicate and develop business relationships with clients Scan & email documents Maintain professional attitude, stability, and tolerance in multi-task, time critical environment ID card requests CRM data entry Daily office tasks such as Outlook Inbox management, etc. Math calculation for payroll deduction, safe harbor and other repetitive tasks for clients Online carrier submissions in varying formats Special projects and other duties as assigned This description is not meant to be all-inclusive and may be modified from time to time at the discretion of management.
