Compensation and Benefits Manager manages the design, implementation, administration, communication, and ongoing evaluation of the organization's compensation and benefits programs, policies, and procedures. Ensures that compensation and benefits programs support the organization's business objectives and meet all legal requirements. Being a Compensation and Benefits Manager develops and manages compensation and benefits budgets. Oversees compensation processes, including survey participation, job evaluation, salary structure development, base pay administration, incentive plan design and analysis. Additionally, Compensation and Benefits Manager manages benefits planning and programs including health and welfare, retirement, and work life. May select and manage outsourced providers. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Compensation and Benefits Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Compensation and Benefits Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Roles and Responsibilities

    Job Description:

    • Working closely with the sales team in managing broker relationships and new business opportunities.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with our broker partners and their clients.
    • Gain Knowledge of insurance products including but not limited to: dental, life, disability, vision, accident, critical illness, and medical.
    • Serve as a technical resource on ancillary lines of coverage for brokers, clients and sales reps.
    • Implement sold cases with our insurance carrier partners and Third Party Administrator.
    • Become an expert at building out cases and training our clients on our online enrollment and eligibility platforms.
    • Hosting web or in-person demos of the benefit administration platforms with our broker partners and their clients.
    • Develop relationships with our carrier partners and Third Party Administrator Partner
    • Provide prompt, efficient, high quality service to our broker partners and clients.

    Required, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • The ideal candidate will be comfortable on the phone and presenting to clients and prospects in person or via webinar.
    • Must have the ability to learn quickly.
    • The candidate has a sense of urgency and takes pride in their work.
    • Must be comfortable in a team environment.
    • Must have the ability to articulate solutions to customer service issues.

    The qualified candidate should have the following:

    • At least one year of professional work experience.
    • Employee Benefit industry experience is not required but preferred
    • Self-motivated and goal oriented
    • Strong organizational, time management and follow-through skills
    • Highly proficient in the basic of Microsoft Excel and Word
    • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
    • Undergraduate degree (Preferred, but not required)
    • Desire to continually learn new products and services
    • Life and Health license preferred or willing to become licensed within 180 days of employment

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
