Compensation Director is responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of the organization's compensation programs, including base pay, incentive pay, and performance management programs. Leads the compensation function and works with senior management to ensure that compensation strategy and programs support the organization's business objectives, meet all legal requirements, and deliver value and equitable pay. Being a Compensation Director develops compensation budget for assigned areas and manages budget after it is approved. Establishes data collection and analysis processes for market, pay equity, and other compensation studies. Additionally, Compensation Director may be responsible for entire organization or for one or more major segments of a larger organization. Requires a bachelor's degree. May require a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Compensation Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget.     Position Overview:
    As the Director of Compensation Analysis, you will lead a team responsible for designing, analyzing, and managing our compensation programs across all levels of the organization, including sales and executive compensation. This role requires a seasoned compensation professional with a strong background in finance and SEC compliance, capable of developing strategic compensation initiatives that attract, retain, and motivate top talent while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Compensation Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive compensation strategy aligned with organizational goals, industry benchmarks, and best practices to support talent acquisition, retention, and performance.
    • Sales Compensation Design: Lead the design and administration of sales compensation plans, ensuring alignment with sales objectives, profitability targets, and market competitiveness.
    • Executive Compensation Management: Oversee the development and administration of executive compensation programs, including base salary, short-term and long-term incentives, equity awards, and perquisites.
    • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and modeling to assess the cost impact of compensation programs, forecast future expenses, and provide insights to senior leadership for informed decision-making.
    • SEC Compliance: Ensure all compensation programs and disclosures comply with SEC regulations, including proxy statement disclosures (CD&A), executive compensation reporting (Form 8-K), and insider trading compliance (Section 16 filings).
    • Compensation Benchmarking: Conduct benchmarking studies and market analyses to evaluate the competitiveness of our compensation programs and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
    • Performance Management Integration: Collaborate with HR and business leaders to integrate compensation programs with performance management processes, ensuring alignment with individual and organizational goals.
    • Compensation Communication and Education: Develop communication strategies to effectively communicate compensation programs to employees, ensuring transparency and understanding of total rewards.
    • Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a team of compensation analysts, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to enhance their skills and capabilities.
    • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to compensation practices, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and mitigating potential reputational risks.

    Qualifications:
    - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
    - 8 years of progressive experience in compensation analysis, with a focus on sales and executive compensation.
    - Strong financial acumen with experience in financial analysis, modeling, and budgeting.
    - In-depth knowledge of SEC regulations related to executive compensation reporting and compliance.
    - Experience with compensation benchmarking methodologies and market analysis techniques.
    - Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex compensation concepts to diverse audiences.
    - Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.
    - Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or similar certification is a plus.
