Compensation Director is responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of the organization's compensation programs, including base pay, incentive pay, and performance management programs. Leads the compensation function and works with senior management to ensure that compensation strategy and programs support the organization's business objectives, meet all legal requirements, and deliver value and equitable pay. Being a Compensation Director develops compensation budget for assigned areas and manages budget after it is approved. Establishes data collection and analysis processes for market, pay equity, and other compensation studies. Additionally, Compensation Director may be responsible for entire organization or for one or more major segments of a larger organization. Requires a bachelor's degree. May require a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Compensation Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Compensation Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     Southern New Hampshire Medical Center is a 188-bed acute care facility located in the heart of downtown Nashua, has a medical staff of over 500 primary and specialty care providers from Foundation Medical Partners, Dartmouth-Hitchcock Nashua, and local independent practices. The Medical Center has been a Magnet® hospital since 2006, as well as earning DNV GL Healthcare accreditation, and awards as Lung Care Screening Center, Go Clear Award, and Most Wired Hospital.

    • $600,000 annual Medical Director compensation
    • Medical Director responsibilities include: Assume general administrative responsibility for the anesthesiology department; Participate in monthly schedule management committee meetings with members of the various departments; In conjunction with the Medical Staff, establish and maintain standards of patient care; Assist Sound Physicians and facility in formulating and implementing policies and procedures for patient care delivery
    • Case mix includes Cardiac, OB, Neuro, Ortho, plastics, endo, GI, and trauma
    • Monday – Friday schedule 7a-3p with shared call responsibility
    • Physicians and CRNAs work within a highly collaborative environment of mutual respect and dedication to patient care

    • In-depth, real-time performance feedback to ensure you have the right technology to drive better patient outcomes
