Job Summary
This position is responsible for the development, implementation, execution, and ongoing assessment of the company’s compensation program through researching, analyzing, and administering the organization’s base salary and incentive plans. This role will also serve in a consultative capacity to leadership and Human Resources Department members regarding compensation principles and practices to ensure our programs align with business strategy and the Total Rewards philosophy and provide a competitive Total Reward package for our Partners.
Essential Duties
- Provides support across the organization on major compensation initiatives linking programs and metrics to overall compensation philosophy and corporate culture.
- Designs and leads the execution of the company’s compensation programs to include the annual merit and incentive programs.
- Analyzes trends, research best practices, monitors economic conditions, and keeps abreast of applicable regulations to ensure compliance with state and federal wage and hour laws; making recommendations for program revisions and development.
- Execute the job evaluation process for the entire organization, ensuring consistent valuation of key job attributes and integration of market data.
- Develops compensation and salary structure recommendations in compliance with internal & external benchmarking standards, as well as applicable regulatory requirements.
- Maintains job descriptions to include development and revisions to ensure consistency and accurate documentation for career paths and pay levels; maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.
- Participates in compensation surveys and industry survey groups to improve competitive pay levels within the organization.
- Analyzes data from survey sources for budget recommendations, analysis of jobs, hourly wages, salaries, FLSA requirements and incentives in order to evaluate internal equity, external competitiveness and legal compliance of the company’s pay practices.
- Audits employee data to ensure consistent application of policies and compliance with regulations.
- Designs and prepares ad hoc compensation reports for management, streamlining various processes to enhance our reporting and analytics capabilities.
- Fulfills compliance and reporting requirements, and maintains current knowledge of related government rules and regulations.
- Works on a variety of projects including program design, analysis, budgeting, merit and incentive planning, salary survey participation and analysis,and the implementation of new programs.
- Reviews salary and annual incentive increases for compliance with organization policy and budget.
- Partners closely with Payroll team in execution of incentive plan payments.
- Collaborates with Talent Acquisition team in generating new hire salary analyses.
- Provides guidance and recommendations to Managers and Recruiters regarding salary offers, promotions and other pay transactions.
Minimum Requirements
- 2 years of experience in compensation
- Prior experience in HR practices and compensation cycle management.
- Working knowledge of job evaluation and job analysis.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Exeptional written and verbal communication.
- Strong collaboration skills at all levels of the organization.
