Job Summary:
The Director of Physician Compensation is responsible for the design, development, implementation and administration of the physician and provider compensation programs and incentive models, in order to support the strategic objectives of the health system in collaboration with system leadership, physician leadership and other various stakeholders. The Director measures the effectiveness of physician and provider compensation plans to ensure the overall physician and provider strategies are supported and is involved in all aspects of physician compensation determination, contract administration, regulatory compliance and fair market value assessment. The Director provides support for core Ambulatory functions and projects across assigned areas within Clinic Operations.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, finance or related field.
Experience: Ten (10) years of progressive experience working with physician compensation methodologies and developing and administering physician compensation programs in a large multi-specialty physician group, with five years of experience in a leadership role.
