THIS IS A TEMP-TO-HIRE POSITION IN NORFOLK, VA
Norfolk location of a national shipping company needs an experienced HR Compensation Analyst specialist to start immediately!
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Ensure company provides effective and competitive pay to all employees
- Develop and manage company compensation programs including base pay, short and long-term incentives, raises, job levels, market data and audits of pay practices and other pay programs and policies.
- May assist with 401K, pension and retirement planning
- Ensure company compliance with various laws.
REQUIREMENTS:- Associates degree or technical diploma required: Bachelors degree preferred.
- 4 yrs experience required.
- 1 year in shipping/transportation required.
- Experience with salary surveys, analysis, classifications and description creation.
- Strong MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
