Overview:
The Compensation Analyst is responsible for evaluating, analyzing, and recommending changes to employee compensation in accordance with the company’s policies, objectives, and budget. This role will be a key member of the Human Resources team and will possess a deep understanding of pay structures, salary bands, and market analysis. The Compensation Analyst will also ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations as well as develop and recommend strategies for attracting and retaining talent.
This position will be located in the DC/MD/VA area and will be a fully remote position.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze current compensation programs and recommend changes as needed.

Develop and maintain job descriptions and salary bands.

Conduct market analyses to identify trends in salaries and benefits.

Research and develop salary surveys.

Assist with the development of salary adjustment and merit increase programs.

Assist with the development of incentive plans.

Support managers and HR colleagues with the administration of compensation programs

Prepare reports for senior management and the Board of Directors

Coordinate with proposal manager and pricing for proposal support
Qualifications:
Required Skills and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field with 5 of experience (or commensurate experience)

3 years of experience in compensation analysis preferred.

Knowledge of federal, state, and local employee compensation laws

Able to analyze and interpret data.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills

Able to maintain confidentiality.

Detail-oriented and organized.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
Preferred Skills and Experience

Knowledge of ADP Work Force Now - Compensation Management Module (a plus)

Knowledge of iCIMS Applicant Tracking System

Posted Pay Range
The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
Posted Salary Range: USD $68,000.00 - USD $75,000.00 /Yr.
