JOB TITLE: COMPENSATION ANALYST
REPORTS TO: HEAD OF COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Job Summary: Responsible for the management of compensation and compensation-related projects in the organization including the analysis, evaluation and implementation of compensation initiatives.
Job Duties:
- Responsible for creating, reviewing and updating job descriptions
- Perform job matching and other compensation analysis
- Provide analytical support for compensation processes and initiatives including the annual salary increase and annual bonus process
- Complete salary surveys, analyze results and propose any changes to compensation policies based on market position
- Perform job evaluations
- Propose changes to compensation policies and oversee their implementation
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations which impact compensation plans and policies, such as the Equal Pay Act, and job classification, such as the FLSA
Experience and Education:
- Has 3-5 years of experience in analysis, design, and/or administration of compensation programs
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification is a plus
- Knowledge of the Construction and/or General Contracting industry is a plus
Competencies:
- Experience in complex compensation analysis
- Knowledge of human resources compensation practices and strategies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong proficiency in Excel
- Proficient in Power Point
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with all levels of the organization
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
