Community Engagement and Outreach Specialist coordinates initiatives designed to promote and represent the organization and brand as a socially responsible force in the community. Administers outreach programs that engage, support, and collaborate with the community to develop and expand relationships. Being a Community Engagement and Outreach Specialist serves as the organization's liaison with various constituents and stakeholders. Assists with the coordination of events, managing volunteers, and applying for grants. Additionally, Community Engagement and Outreach Specialist typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Community Engagement and Outreach Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. To be a Community Engagement and Outreach Specialist typically requires 2 -4 years of related experience.
